River Time Yoga offers a series of Meditation Classes four times per year — spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each series comprises three two-hour classes. In addition, we offer Free Satsangs every Wednesday — join other like-minded participants for group meditation and yoga practices designed to help still your mind.

Defined as "in community with seekers of the truth," Satsang gives you a beautiful opportunity to deepen your meditation practice in a group. Carolyn Beaver CSYT -- certified as a Meditation Group Leader as well as a Meditation Teacher through the Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram -- leads this weekly meditation. Each Satsang opens with teachings from yogic texts about meditation with time for Q&A, or with chanting or japa (mantra repetition). Your meditation period follows, with time for journaling and sharing. For more information on Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati and Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram visit www.svaroopavidya.org. While there is no fee for this program, donations to the Ashram are gratefully accepted. No prior experience is necessary.
